Itinerary:
You will be picked up at your place in the metro area (hotel, airport, cruise port, Airbnb, etc).
Drive you into El Yunque National Forest.
Visit El Portal Visitor Center, where you can see the Puerto Rican Parrot (symbol of El Yunque Rainforest)
We get back on the car and keep going up the mountain.
You can take pictures of the impressive “La Coca Falls”.
Go up the Yokahu Observation Tower and enjoy the amazing view.
Walk on the jungle and experience the energy of the rainforest.
We might even be able to swim on the pristine waters of the rainforest rivers (let me know ahead of time if your are interested). We will tell you about the history, preservation, ecology, endangered species and challenges of the Rainforest.
Let me know if you want to stop on a local restaurant and enjoy Puerto Rican Food.
If we have time, we can explore other attractions in the area, like caves, mangroves, beaches, etc.
