Javier may possibly be the best tour guide we have ever had. We came into PR on a cruise right off the back of a hurricane so a number of locations were closed. Rather than giving us a half baked tour he took us to places that you would never go to with anyone else. Someone in our group wanted to see a cave but the main cave was unsafe from the storm. He knew of an alternative cave that was off a random road with zero signs. He also took us to the most amazing restaurant for lunch... We already booked him for our next visit!

My wife and I took this tour and Javier Ruiz was our guide, very knowledgeable and we toured most of the island, even the rain forest. WHAT a tour!!! Javier stopped for lunch at a genuine Puerto Rican bakery-restaurant. We had a gigantic chicken sandwich on fresh made bread. It was Huge!! Enough for both of us. Thank you Javier for a wonderful tour.

We had a great day with Javier ! There were 4 of us and we all agree it was a great choice . We only had 1 day in Puerto Rico as 1 of cruise stops. This tour checked every box . points of I interest, and more ... Javier is personable and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of Puerto Rico and was happy to share information with us. He also managed to get us to a few local shops and we enjoyed a great lunch at a local eatery.

We recently traveled to Puerto Rico and scheduled a half day walking tour with Javier Ruiz of old San Juan. We had a wonderful time! Javier is so knowledgeable about San Juan and Puerto Rico, both historical and current day! We visited the Castillo San Cristobal, the Cathedral of San Juan, the San Juan Gate, and many other sites. We really enjoy talking with local people and learning about their culture and what they think about their country and what they think is important for us to know about them. We would highly recommend Javier to anyone going to San Juan!
